Covering the confined space

 

When the space becomes the canvas!

(The Attic) I covered a small section of the attic in black paper.



I covered myself in white powder so that when i moved (awkwardly) in the confined space, i was also drawing/marking my movement.

Experiencing everyday spaces through dance!

 

These videos were filmed in a shopping centre. I wanted to experiment with filming in ordinary, everyday places. I do think it causes the viewer to ask why I would dance in these places, therefore it becomes equally about the movement and space.

 

 

 

Got a few strange looks from security after this one!
